Our Story
In 1907, Delta Sigma Pi was founded by four determined undergraduates at the New York University’s School of Commerce, Accounts, and Finance; Harold V. Jacobs, Alfred Moysello, Alexander Frank Makay, and Henry Albert Tienken. Their goal was to create an inclusive fraternity for business and economics majors. Doing so, they also saw that there was an increasing role of women in the business world and saw that as a valuable social change. Thus, in 1975 Delta Sigma Pi became the nation's first co-ed business fraternity. Ever since then, the fraternity has grown into something so amazing with brothers all over the world no matter what age, gender, or race a person is. Delta Sigma Pi welcomes every business major--so come join us today!
